About me
A motivated beginner preparing for an IT Ausbildung in Germany
My name is Babin Sharma and I live in Nepal. I completed my Grade 12 in Science under the National Examination Board (NEB) with a GPA of 3.27. Science taught me to work carefully, think logically and stay patient with difficult problems.
I have always been interested in computers and technology — how software works, how systems are set up and how digital tools solve everyday problems. I have not worked professionally in IT yet, and I have no completed programming projects to show. What I do have is genuine curiosity and the willingness to learn the profession properly, step by step.
In parallel I started learning German. I have completed the B1 level and I am currently preparing for B2. Learning the language has been a long, disciplined process, and it has also taught me a lot about German work culture and communication.
My goal is to begin an IT Ausbildung in Germany. The dual system is exactly what I need: structured theory combined with real practical work in a company. Long term, I would like to build an international career in software engineering and information technology.

Motivation
Why Germany, and why IT
Two decisions I have thought about carefully.
The Ausbildung system
Germany's dual vocational training combines school-based theory with daily work in a company. For a beginner like me, that structure is far more valuable than learning alone.
Learning by doing
I learn best through practice and clear guidance. An Ausbildung lets me apply what I study immediately and be corrected by experienced colleagues.
Career opportunities
Germany has a strong IT sector and a recognised qualification system. A completed Ausbildung is a solid, respected foundation for a long-term career.
Professional development
I want to work in an environment with high standards, clear processes and the possibility to keep qualifying further after the Ausbildung.
Why information technology
Genuine interest in technology
Computers and software have interested me since school. I want to understand how they work rather than only use them.
A field that keeps changing
IT requires continuous learning, which suits how I like to work — always studying something new.
Long-term goal
After the Ausbildung I would like to grow into a software engineering role and keep developing my technical skills.
Future learning goals
What I plan to learn next
These are goals, not achievements. Nothing here is completed yet — I am listing them so employers can see exactly where I stand and where I am heading.
Learn programming fundamentals
Understand logic, variables, conditions, loops and how a program is structured.
Learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Build a first understanding of how websites are created and how the web works.
Build my first portfolio projects
Create small practice projects to apply what I learn and document my progress.
Learn Git and GitHub
Learn version control and how developers work together on code.
Complete B2 German
Pass the B2 examination to meet the language requirements for an Ausbildung.
Start an IT Ausbildung
